About Thelma
Thelma White is an experienced Business Wellbeing Coach with a strong background in organisational wellbeing, leadership, program management, and community welfare services. She is highly experienced in supporting small businesses and primary producers across urban, regional, and remote areas, helping owners and their teams sustain mental and emotional wellbeing while navigating the pressures of running a business.
Thelma has worked extensively in disaster recovery contexts, supporting small businesses and communities in Far North Queensland following severe weather events and major industry disruptions. With frontline and management experience in the human and community services sector, she brings practical expertise in capacity building, crisis intervention, family support, and facilitating mental health support. She works in a holistic, strengths-based, solutions-focused and trauma-informed way to help individuals and teams build resilience, communicate effectively, and implement realistic strategies that improve both wellbeing and business performance.
Thelma holds a Bachelor of Social Science and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Master of Professional Counselling.
She is trained in mental health first aid, suicide intervention, and prevention, managing wellbeing, and recognising vicarious trauma and responding to domestic and family violence.
