Paul Misipeka understands the challenges, risks, and rewards of business ownership and entrepreneurship like few others. Over 18 years, he built his company from a single employee into a thriving enterprise with 50 full-time staff operating across 10 regional towns in Queensland and NSW. His intelligent, innovative approach to business growth earned multiple state and national business awards.

However, Paul’s journey also includes the hard reality of business loss during the 2009 Global Financial Crisis (GFC). This experience gave him a unique insight into the emotional and financial toll of business failure - an understanding he brings to every client he supports. Just as the COVID-19 pandemic and Queensland’s cyclones disrupted countless small businesses, Paul’s work today is centred on helping business owners recover and rebuild.

Paul’s career includes working with Deloitte, a global leader in management and advisory services, where he specialised in small business financial turnarounds, start-up success strategies, and operational growth planning. His work with regional and remote businesses across Central Western and Far North Queensland demonstrates his ability to adapt strategies to challenging and diverse economic conditions.

With qualifications in business management and project management, Paul blends technical expertise with a practical, real-world understanding of what it takes to succeed in small business.
