Morgan Gronold

Morgan Gronold is the Chief Executive Officer of CWQ Remote Area Planning and Development Board (RAPAD), and the program delivery organisations of Small Business Support North Queensland, Rural Financial Counselling Service North Queensland and Farm Business Planning North Queensland.

About Morgan

Appointed RAPAD CEO in January 2026, Morgan brings more than a decade of experience with the organisation and a strong understanding of regional communities, rural industries, small business, economic development and government-funded service delivery.

During his time with RAPAD, Morgan has led and supported projects focused on stabilising regional depopulation, growing jobs, and driving economic diversity, investment and growth across regional Queensland.

Prior to RAPAD, Morgan spent more than 15 years working in the region with the Queensland Government, with a focus on the international marketing and export of meat and agricultural products. This role saw him work across markets including Latin America, the United States and China.

Morgan’s experience across agriculture, regional development, trade, government and community-led service delivery provides strong leadership for the Rural Financial Counselling Service North Queensland and Small Business Financial Counselling North Queensland teams as they continue to deliver free, independent, confidential and practical support to rural and small business communities across North Queensland.

Morgan is also a director on the Central West Hospital and Health Service (CWHHS) Board.
