He holds a degree in Commerce and Economics and is an associate member of the peak industry body Financial Counselling Queensland (FCQ). Committed to ongoing professional development, Gus meets the educational and professional requirements expected of financial counsellors, including relevant skills & qualifications in financial counselling, accounting, finance, economics, and business.

With extensive experience in both Australia and the UK, Gus brings a strong understanding of the financial needs of small business owners and the broader economic environment. His background spans accounting, finance, and law, combined with strategic, analytical, and leadership skills that enable him to deliver effective business and financial outcomes.

Gus’s industry experience covers finance, tourism, property development, waste management, agriculture, education, and technology. He has worked closely with individuals, businesses, and community organisation’s to provide financial guidance, hardship prevention support, and sustainable business solutions.
